Picking a size

How big is a 10 yard dumpster?

A 10-yard roll-off holds 10 cubic yards of debris — about three pickup-truck loads. A typical one is roughly 12–14 feet long, 7½–8 feet wide and 3–3½ feet high, so it fits in most driveways. Ask us for the exact measurements when you book.

Should I get a 15 or a 20 yard dumpster?

If you’re clearing out a garage or basement, doing a kitchen or removing a deck, a 15-yard is usually right. If it’s a whole house, several rooms at once or a big roof, go 20. Still on the fence? Call us and describe the job — we’ll help you pick.

Is a 20 yard dumpster big enough for a roof?

Often, yes — it depends on the size of the roof and how many layers are coming off. Shingles are heavy, so tell us how many squares and layers you have and we’ll recommend the right dumpster.
